What does Magool Affairs do?
Magool Affairs is an Edmonton, Alberta event décor, party-supply, and rental studio. We design and install décor for weddings, bridal and baby showers, and private celebrations, and we rent out our own collection of décor pieces. We do not just drop off — our team sets everything up on site and takes it down afterward.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Edmonton, Alberta and serve Edmonton and the surrounding communities. If your event is outside the immediate area, reach out — travel can often be arranged.
How much does event décor cost?
Every celebration is different, so pricing is by inquiry. Share your event type, date, guest count, and the services you need through our quote form and we will send a tailored quote. There is no set package price because we build each design around your space, style, and budget.
Do you set up the décor or just deliver it?
We set it up. Full styling and installation is part of what we do — our team delivers, installs, styles the space on site, and returns to strike it down after your event, so you never have to lift a thing.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and larger events we recommend reaching out as early as possible, ideally a few months ahead, to secure your date. Showers and smaller celebrations can sometimes be arranged on shorter notice — just ask.
What does the name “Magool” mean?
“Magool” is a Somali word meaning “flower.” It is famous as the stage name of the legendary Somali singer Xaliimo Khaliif Omar, who was called Magool for her beauty and artistry. We chose it because every celebration we style is meant to bloom.
